In June 2013, I started my journey to become an LMT at Stone School of Massage in Tyler, Texas. From the first hands-on learning experience, I knew this therapy was exactly what I thought it would be. I have two small children at home and a husband who worked hard to put me through massage school. When I graduated in November of 2013 from the 500 Hr massage therapy course, I have never been so proud of myself in achieving this goal that I have desired since childhood.
Although as a new LMT, I have been around massage therapy since my early years. My mother is an LMT, and years ago I decided that one day I would become a licensed massage therapist as well. Now that I have a family of my own, I was eager to start my new career. The Retreat in Athens was my business location choice because of the friendly staff, serene atmosphere and reputable establishment. I am so pleased about building my business and to help people deal with their stress, aches and pains. I LOVE what I do, assisting people to experience better physical, mental and emotional health.
